Terms & Conditions

Cancellation By Us: Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that advertised courses actually run, we will notify you of cancellation as soon a possible where I believe there are reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to dangerous and / or unsuitable conditions for the course activity. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your course, you will be offered either a full refund or another date. We will not be liable for any travel or accommodation related expenses.

Cancellation by You: Once notified of the cancellation, we will try to resell the course place. In the event that we are able to resell the course place prior to the start date, you will receive a full refund.

If we are unable to resell the course place:

Where notice is less than 30 days no refund will be given.

If notice is 31 days or more, we will refund your payment in full.
Refunds will be made on or before the date the course commences.

Insurance and loss: We have full Public Liability Insurance, but we would advise you to take out your own Personal Accident / Cancellation Insurance. If you already have insurance, check that it covers you for the activity that you are undertaking.

We do not include any personal accident, cancellation, third party liability or personal insurance. We will accept no responsibility whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property.

British Mountaineering Council Participation Statement

The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own involvement. By booking a course you are aware and accept these risks and will be responsible for your own actions & involvement. We will teach you how to manage these, but can never completely remove them.
